Most light tower issues in the field fall into a small number of categories. Working through the basics before requesting service often resolves the issue immediately, or at least gives our service team useful information to work with.
Check the battery pack is fully seated and charged — a partially seated pack is a common cause of a unit that appears completely dead. If using AC power, confirm the driver and power source are both functioning and correctly connected. If the pack shows charge but the unit still won't power on, this points toward a fault worth reporting through Service & RMA rather than continuing to troubleshoot in the field.

Confirm the pack was fully charged before deployment and that the brightness mode in use matches what you expected (higher modes draw down runtime faster, as shown on each product's brightness-by-mode table).
On motorized telescopic masts like the LI-500's Cloud-Axis pole, check the battery has sufficient charge — a low pack can trigger the manual clutch release safety behaviour intentionally, bringing the pole down by hand rather than leaving it stuck extended. This is a designed failsafe, not necessarily a fault. If the pole won't move with a confirmed charged pack, that's a service matter.
Check for visible damage to the light head or lens, and confirm the brightness mode selected matches the expected output level. Uneven output across a multi-panel head, with a confirmed good battery and correct mode, generally indicates a fault requiring service rather than a field-fixable issue.
